A Tablescape You'll Fall For
Celebrate the crisp colors of the season with a little festive fall inspiration! The season features such beautiful natural elements, from colorful leaves and breezy trees to apples, nuts, pine cones, and pumpkins so I love bringing in those aspects to creates an organic aesthetic. Rich shades of eggplant, brown, and gold accompanied by soft accents of ivory come together to create this elegant table design.
To build this fall tablescape, we started with a chocolate crinkle taffeta tablecloth that has the feel of tree branches swaying in the fall breeze. Gold chargers layered with gold casino plates set the perfect stage for eggplant napkins folded into leaves and tied at the base with twine. For an easy place card that complements the napkin fold, cut kraft paper into a simple leaf shape and tuck into base of fold. Add ivory hues to the mix with our Duet flatware with ivory handles and a centerpiece arrangement of ivory and eggplant florals.
Fall has so many flavors to enjoy, and wine is certainly a favorite! Medium-bodied wines typically pair well with autumn cuisine. Look for whites with more texture, and reds that aren't too bold. Set up a small drink station with a selection of your favorite fall wines, allowing your guests to take the wine of their choice and enjoy at their place setting using their wine goblet.
Cut a slightly larger leaf shape to label the mini wine carafes and use twine to wrap the label around the neck of carafe. A fall tablescape wouldn't be complete without pumpkin! Top each place setting off with scrumptious no-bake pumpkin cheesecake trifles and let guests fully indulge in the taste of the season.Enjoy your fall festivities, and check back for recipes and DIY tutorials next week!
