Mother's Day finally arrives away so it's time to start preparing! When we think of this occasion, we usually think about lively spring colors, fresh flowers, and probably a few mimosas. ;) We pulled these three pieces together and paired them with the theme, "If Moms were flowers, I'd pick you!" to create the perfect celebration for Mom!
Smarty just got brand new dinnerware value sets, and we're so in love with the new hues that they inspired our color palette for the celebration. With four new colors -- mint green, sea aqua, purple, and yellow -- we knew one tablescape wouldn't be enough, so we split our new plates into two lovely Mother's Day tablescape designs! One was designed for a more traditional mom that is anything but ordinary but prefers a more classic style. The other was designed with a modern, punchy mom in mind, that's all about the latest trends. Either way, we have a sweet setting for you!
- Traditional Mom -
A purple and yellow duo set the scene at this table, making an oh-so-elegant environment for a Mother's Day celebration! . Our white dinner plates provide an intricate design at the base of the place setting, followed by our fabulous salad plates and topped off with yellow and purple plates.
Mix things up with mimosas. Because mimosas are a must, we're sticking to what we know to be good. A classic mimosa! You can't go wrong here. Served in a Smartyware™ champagne flute, we know mom will feel the love.
Potted daffodil favors for mom double as centerpieces for this Mother's Day table!! Using our mini treat buckets plant a daffodil inside, add a cocktail napkin around the outside, and tie up with a lavender ribbon. Make a tag using cardstock and a bamboo pick that says "If moms were flowers I'd pick you!" to mimic a plastic plant tag as you would get in flowers from a nursery. This is a great way to utilize centerpieces so the flowers don't go to waste after the party!

Mint green and sea aqua make a marvelous match and create a hip vibe for this Mother's Day table. The place setting layers a black dinner plate, white salad plate, colored cake plates, and chevron dinner napkins.
Serve grapefruit mint mimosas for a fresh twist on the brunch staple. Add edible flowers to the top of each stemless champagne flute for a dainty detail mom will love! Using a label maker, we added the tag "If moms were flowers I'd pick you!" on a piece of striped washi tape to mimic the napkin style.
