Melty Fontina Dip
When your guests arrive and ask if they can help in the kitchen, mean it when you say, "No." This melty fontina dip is just that easy to make.
And tastes oh so heavenly.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs fontina cheese
- 5-6 garlic cloves (sliced)
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon thyme (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon rosemary (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Remove rind from cheese and cut into 1 inch cubes
Fill each of mini crock pots with 8-10 cubes of cheese
Sprinkle olive oil on top of cheese
Combine garlic, thyme, rosemary and add evenly on top
Add salt and pepper to cheese mixture
Place crock pots in microwave (takes approximately 20 seconds for one. if heat more than one at once, add about 15 more seconds for each)
Place one mini crock pot by each person's plate as an individual dip
Serve while hot and with bread
