Rosemary and Goat Cheese Apple Tart
Summer has finally flown the coupe and autumn has fallen. Are you ready to fill your house with the aroma of apples, cinnamon, pumpkin and other fall favorites? Feast your tastebuds on the autumn flavors of this rosemary and goat cheese apple tart recipe. It's simple and scrumptious!
What you need:
- Frozen phylo or tart crust
- 1 large log of fresh goat cheese (spreadable)
- 2 apples of your favorite variety, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
- Rosemary
- 7.5" Geometric Ivory Gold Plastic Plate for serving
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and brush a large tart tin or pie dish with melted butter, then place in the frozen pie tart. Spread the goat cheese evenly over the inside of the pastry. Slice your apples to the desired thickness and place on top of the goat cheese. Use a basting brush to cover the apples with olive oil (generously). Pick a few leaves and sprigs of rosemary, toss them lightly in olive oil and scatter them over the apples. Place the tart on the bottom shelf of the oven for about 30 minutes. Let cool and then serve!
